We can confirm that your parish Pidley-cum-Fenton is in scope to be included in Connecting Cambridgeshire’s plans for the next phase of the fibre broadband rollout over the next two years beginning this Summer 2017. However the planning process is increasingly complex and is subject to detailed surveys being carried out by BT and Openreach to assess the best technology solution to extend the fibre network.
We are unable to provide more specific details of coverage and timescales at this time, however we expect to have more information in the coming months and will be updating the Connecting Cambridgeshire website with a map and postcode checking system, once the deployment plan is confirmed.
